Pomegranate Nostalgia - Original Artwork

Featuring my 8 year old son who loves his grandmother's pomegranates. Since little, each time we travel to Chile in Autumn, they both have the ritual of picking the fresh fruit from her garden's tree and enjoy the ruby-red seeds together. The flowers on the right are from my mother's Aloe Vera plant that just finished flowering, the artichokes are a memory from my own childhood, and the bird, a Chilean Sparrow, is a symbolism that represents my father. Nostalgia, flavours, magic and love, all in one painting.
