About

Born in "the city of the eternal spring" Arica, Chile. She grew up in the central valleys of her long and skinny country. Her desire to explore the world took her to Australia in my mid twenties, where she has been living since. Her heart is forever divided between both countries.

SolRys has always been in love with art, but it was only in 2025, after many years working as a physiotherapist, that she took the leap and decided to live a creative life turning her energy into making art.

SolRys art is influenced by Latin American magical realism and is full of symbolism. In reverence to Pachamama (Mother Earth), she taps on her origins, travels and subconscious mind to make art that is a reflection of how she experiences this magical world.

In addition to her figurative work, SolRys also explores abstractions, experimenting with fun colors and textures.

Magic is everywhere...

SolRys

SolRys artwork is unique in merging Latin American energy with contemporary art through the threads of magical realism.

It blends figurative abstraction, symbolism and surreal touches to bring to life imaginative and whimsical pieces of art.
